Lightning jam session – design sprint

Deadline for registration: Monday, 25th of September 2023

Structure:
A 2-hour workshop using the Design Thinking (DT) framework to solve a real-life case from the health sector. Participants will be introduced to the five stages of design thinking and apply them to the case provided. Participants will be assigned to working groups of 3-4 people.

Phase 1 – Empathize: Collection of insights participants have gathered before the workshop.
Phase 2 – Define: Discuss the insight and decide on a theme/problem/need to focus on
Phase 3 – Ideate: Brainstorming
Phase 4 – Prototype: Create a physical prototype
Phase 5 – Testing: Pitch of ideas followed by Q&A and feedback.

Module Objectives: 
By the end of this module, learners will be able to solve a problem using creative thinking and have gained knowledge of the DT framework as a tool for user focused problem solving.
