3D printing and Additive Manufacturing
The term 3D printing is used to describe various processes. The variety and the possibilities of use are often unknown. The course gives an impression of how additive processes can be used in different areas, from metal printing to the production of cake decorations. The steps of the process chain are applied in an exercise.
We will explore the following topics:
Use Cases (Applications, Industry examples)
Fundamentals, Materials & Processes (FFF, SLA)
Manufacturing Design (Parameters, quality effects)
Exercises (CAD, Slicing Software)
